EVERY CHILD HAS THE RIGHT TO SOUND EDUCATION

The education program facilitates learning and acquiring knowledge, skills and values. Education can take place in formal or informal settings.

CBI, runs and supports schools in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa state Northeastern Nigeria with the aim of contributing to the development of students’ knowledge, character and trust, and helps identify, develop and support unique talents and abilities. We also help in re-introducing drop out children from school back to school by providing basic necessity for the proper education of the child.

The program mentors’ students through high school until they graduate university, by providing many supporting activities such as student seminars, and by sharing ways to achieve scholarship opportunities. Staff capacity building has been our priority at CBI where staff are trained and empowered to be their best at their various schools. Care Best Initiative is working tirelessly to see every child is properly educated with the help of partners and donor in and the communities.

Our programme at CBI advocates for education to be prioritized and targets children who are least likely to receive an education. The expected outcome of the programme is that all children access and complete quality education, within a safe learning environment, gaining the skills and knowledge for lifelong learning.

This work will be achieved by creating an enabling environment for education, improving the quality of education, increasing demand for education, and humanitarian assistance, including through ensuring: The education system at federal and state levels has strengthened capacities to deliver quality basic education. More teachers have core knowledge and competencies to use proven teaching methodologies to deliver appropriate quality education. Parents and communities have improved knowledge and commitment to contribute to enrolling children at the right age in quality learning in safe and protective school environments. Children in humanitarian situations have timely and sustained access to quality education services.
