Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

SANITATION AND CLEANLINESS ARE AMONG THE HUMBLEST OF THE CIVIC VIRTUES.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) interventions are designed to provide lifesaving, long-term and sustainable access to safe water and sanitation, whilst promoting good hygiene practices that reduce the risk of water-related disease transmission.

Well-designed and implemented WASH involvements build capacity and flexibility to unforeseen future shocks and stressors. Care Best initiative’s (CBI) WASH services extend from infrastructure, management to education and behaviour change, delivering on the full range of WASH interventions from immediate needs to long-term development.

The consequences of unsafe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) on children can be lethal. Over 700 children under age 5 die every day of diarrhetic diseases due to lack of proper WASH services. In areas of conflict, children are nearly 20 times more likely to die from diarrhetic disease than from the conflict itself.

There was so great joy in Shagari Low-cost A and B as the staff of Care Best Initiative (CBI) came out to clean the entire environment and distribute soap to the beneficiaries, while the local community was so happy with the commitment of the organization they prayed for the organization and willing to support the organization for sustainable development.

Water, Sanitation and hygiene starts with you and me, therefore be intentional about it and influence others to keep to it.
